Our NIDO

Our youngest children, ages 12 weeks to 18 months, are welcomed into the Nido, a word meaning nest in Italian.

The first year of life is a period of profound construction. Movement, attachment, perception, and language are forming at an extraordinary pace. Within our carefully prepared environment, infants are supported as active participants in their own development, exploring their surroundings with growing independence and curiosity.

We make a deliberate commitment to preparing a space that is calm, orderly, and rich with opportunities for movement. Freedom of movement is essential to healthy development, allowing infants to strengthen coordination, build confidence, and engage meaningfully with their environment.

Each day follows the natural rhythms of the child, honoring individual needs and emerging abilities.

Daily time outdoors offers gentle sensory experiences, fresh air, and quiet connection with the natural world.

7:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Monday through Friday

Afternoon Program (Optional)

3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Monday through Friday
