Our Philosophy

At Crossway Montessori, admissions are more than paperwork, they’re the beginning of a relationship. We seek families who share our belief in the Montessori approach and the importance of nature as a child’s first classroom. Our Admissions Committee thoughtfully evaluates each applicant’s readiness to thrive in our environment and contribute to the vitality of our community.

Guided by our value of radical hospitality, we view every step of the admissions journey as an opportunity to connect. Tours and applications are welcomed on a rolling basis, and we encourage families to reach out early to ensure space for their child.

Admissions Steps

  1. Discover Our Community - Schedule a tour to walk through our classrooms and outdoor environments, and experience how Montessori learning unfolds each day. (Complete our Tour Request Form or call us directly at 301-929-2505).

  2. Share Your Story - Complete our Online Application (via FACTS) so we can learn more about your child, your family, and what inspires you to seek a Montessori education.

  3. Child’s First Connection - Your child is invited to spend time in one of our classrooms, giving them the chance to explore while we observe how they respond to the environment.

  4. Welcome to Crossway - Following careful review, families receive an admissions decision. Upon acceptance, you’ll receive a Welcome Enrollment Packet including Medical Forms and personalized onboarding plan to ensure a smooth transition into our community.

Application & Enrollment Fees

  • Application Fee: $122

  • Enrollment Fee: $800 for new children and $400 for re-enrolling

  • Monthly Tuition: $24,500 for YCC and Children’s House and $26,000 for NIDO
